This collaborative piece is based on the Surrealist parlor game, Exquisite Corpse.

The original game can be written or drawn, but in this case Axis Mundi (meaning some sort of line connecting the heavens and earth) was suggested as a theme, and each artist was asked to create a piece one foot square with a vertical axis and send them to be hung together, sight unseen.
